Description:: Workshop 1: Explore how pupils develop their conceptual understanding of Length, Area and Weight, followed by engaging in a range of practical activities, examining the opportunities for genuine linkage and integration of measures across the curriculum. Workshop 2: This follow-on workshop explores how pupils develop their conceptual understanding of Capacity, Time and Money. The practical activities are designed to engage all pupils in seeing the real-life application of measures. Finally, teachers will examine a range of methods to assess pupils’ ability to reason and problem solve in measures.
