NIPTWS03 This workshop provides NQTs with an opportunity to reflect on the concept of an effective teaching and learning environment. The following topics are explored in this context: positive relationships, the social and learning environment, effective classroom organisation, a systematic approach to responding to behaviour, and teacher attitudes and behaviours. Opportunities to discuss strategies and share ideas will be a central element of this workshop.
